What is “A New Start for You”? 

It is an exciting new holistic teen recovery and relapse prevention program for high school teens and their families.  It was developed so that teens affected by substance abuse would have a place to go after school, where they have the opportunity to rebuild their lives.  We empower teens as they take ownership for their own program … A New Start for You!

What Do We Offer?

A New Start for You is a program developed for teens to have a place to go where they are heard and respected, where what they think counts and where they have an opportunity to discuss and plan the future of the program.

• We are an agency serving teens and families faced with the challenge of alcohol and substance abuse disorders.
• We offer an after school program with activities designed for holistic recovery and prevention of teen relapse.
• We focus on healing of family and restoring wellness physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
• We strive to increase public awareness of alcohol and substance abuse and dependency disorders as serious treatable chronic diseases, not moral issues.

How is Recovery Promoted?

• At A New Start for You, we provide teens with a safe environment in which to confidentially share and discuss the challenges of staying sober in today’s culture.
• We promote community awareness of addiction as a treatable disease, not a moral issue, striving to improve public awareness and break down stereotypes.
• Teens will be provided the opportunity to work together and transform their lives using knowledge about life-long sobriety skills as they grow together.
